We rent beautiful, sunlit, and comfortable apartments inside a 3-family house in Witikon, situated in an exceptionally peaceful area on a dead-end street adjacent to the forest. The bus stop connecting to the main station (Zurich HB) is a mere 250m away, and for those who prefer to drive, we offer both parking facilities and an EV charger. ALDI, Denner, and Migros supermarkets are just 280m away in a nearby shopping mall.

Our apartments have been renovated and boast modern amenities including an induction kitchen, a bathroom with a Geberit toilet/bidet, and a luxurious jacuzzi-type bathtub for your relaxation. Every apartment includes two balconies: one with a view of the lake and the other positioned behind the kitchen.

Our house is situated in Luegete, just a 20-minute drive from the Main Station (Zurich HB). Zurich Kloten Airport is 14.5 km away and can be reached within 30 minutes by car. The Inter-Community School Zurich in Zumikon is located 6.0 km away, and our street is served by their bus service.

The neighborhood

Witikon is one of the most desirable neighbourhoods located on the east hill of Lake Zurich, where the sun shines all year round. Close we have the Zurich Zoo and the Dolder Bath & Ice Skating, the forest is at the end of the street and three supermarkets (Aldi, Migros and Denner) are on a shopping mall 300 meters away from the house.

The east side of the lake offers several distractions if you like arts and culture, close is The Kunsthaus (Art Museum), The Bellerive Museum, The Tram Museum, The Corbusier House, The China Garden, the Opera House and of course the lake where you can take a swim or go for a picnic in summer.

Public Transport

The trolley bus Nr. 31 will bring you directly to us in about 20 minutes from Zurich Main Station (Zurich HB). Our bus stop, WASERSTRASSE, is located 200m (656ft) from our house.

Tickets can be purchased at the ticket machine located at each stop, either using cash or card.

EV Charger

If you come with an electric vehicle, we have a semi public 7.4Kw EV charger.

Frequently Asked Questions

You can use our booking calendar to select the dates you want to book, then you will have to fill your information and select the payment options.
After making the payment you will receive an email with a link to check-in online with our guest app, there you will find the access code for the apartment and the house manual.
We accept payments by card, Bitcoin and bank transfer.
If you select bank transfer as payment method, please send the payment confirmation by email within 24 hours, otherwise we cannot guarantee your reservation.

  1. A 5% transaction fee will be applied to the return of the total reservation amount for cancellations made at least 7 days before your scheduled arrival date.

  2. No refunds will be issued in the following situations:

    • Cancellations made less than 7 days before the scheduled arrival date.
    • Cancelled reservations with date changes made less than 7 days before the original date.
    • Arriving after or leaving before the reserved dates.
    • Not staying for the full duration of your reserved dates.
    • Failure to check in.

Please be aware of these terms before making a reservation. We appreciate your understanding.

The apartments are self-serviced, meaning guests are expected to maintain the cleanliness and order during their stay. There is no daily or in-house cleaning service, but a weekly cleaning can be arranged upon request. It costs 180 CHF per cleaning and includes the replacement of bed sheets and towels; however, it does not cover personal laundry. For your convenience, a shared laundry machine is available in the basement of the house.
The check-in time is at 15:00 (3:00 pm), and your private code to enter the apartment only starts to work at that time. If you're arriving early, we can store your luggage in the basement, but you can only enter the apartment at 15:00 (3:00 pm). The reason is that we need time to clean between every stay ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for every guests.
The same policy applies to check-out. The apartment must be vacated by 10:00 am so that we can prepare it for the next guest. If your flight or train departs later, we can store your luggage, and you can retrieve it when it's time for you to leave.
Exceptions to this rule can be considered if there are no other guests scheduled to arrive or depart on the same day. Please inquire in advance.

We offer one free parking spot per apartment.
There is a fee of CHF 16 per day to use an extra parking spot or to obtain a street parking permit for each additional car.

Street parking (blue zone) is free if you follow the city of Zurich rules:

  • Free from 19:00 to 9:00
  • During the day, limited to one hour. Plus the half hour already started
  • Free all day on Sundays and holidays.
  • If you plan to park on the street outside the rules, you must purchase a parking ticket from the city of Zürich, we can do this for you at CHF 16/day.
  • Whoever doesn't stick to the street rules can expect a parking fine of CHF 40 or more by the police.

Waserstrasse at 250 meters (820ft) away.
Zurich HB (Central Station) at 20min bus ride from our stop (Waserstrasse). Or Zürich Stadelhofen, you can also take the bus there, but you have to walk around 500 meters after the bus stop.
The normal bus works until 00:00 (12:00pm) and it arrives every 7 minutes, after that there is a night bus that works until 5:00 (am) but it's a longer route and takes about one hour to arrive here.
Although, there are several TRAM lines on this side of the lake, they don't reach our neighborhood, you always have to take a bus to come here.

Yes, it is. There are several pots, pans and cutlery at your disposal, as well a fondue set in each apartment.
We have 3 Supermarkets all located behind the house in a shopping mall at 280 meters (980ft), those are Aldi, Denner and Migros.
By foot you can reach the Confiserie Honold in the shopping mall behind the house also the restaurant Hoch3 by car you can reach Wiesli30. Remember this is a residential area, if you fancy more variety we recommend you to go downtown. Also, services like JustEat work here and you can order anything from a variety of restaurants around.
We are not in close walking distance to the lake, walking there will take you about 45 minutes. Consider also that we are on a hill, so the walk down is easier than the return walk. That said the bus can let you on a close walking distance from the lake. The best spots on this side of the lake for bathing or family activities are Strandbad Tiefenbrunnen and the Chinagarten.
Each Apartment has a dedicated Wi-Fi router. The internet speed is 1Gbit/s by ethernet cable and about 500Mbit/s trough Wi-fi

For multi-month stays We offer a special discount. If you are relocating, we can give you a rental contract (Mietvertrag) valid to register your residency in the district office from the city of Zürich.
